For each resource listed below, I explain what is offered and how you should utilize it. While not developed by the College Board, unofficial practice resources can still be very valuable for your studying, particularly given the abundance of available options. Unofficial AP Calculus AB Practice Tests and Quizzes: This resource provides a wide range of practice tests and quizzes to help you prepare for the AP Calculus AB exam. By using this resource, you can assess your knowledge and identify areas where you need improvement. The College Board's data shows that between 2010 and 2021, an average of 45% of students received an A on the AP Calculus AB exam. In 2021, only 80% of students passed the BC exam, marking a decade-long low score. Additionally, in 2021, 38% of students took five AP exams, and 75% of students passed three or more. Interestingly, when considering an AP course as more challenging or requiring more prerequisites, AP scores tend to rise. This is reflected in the trend of lower enrollment courses for BC Calculus test scores. In comparison, almost 60% of students have completed four or more exams over the last ten years.
